Civic Camp
The Literacy Script runs youth-centered workshops dedicated to increasing public speaking, leadership, global leadership, and critical thinking skills. We give elementary and middle school students the opportunity to improve their civic education, global knowledge, and voice through projects, speeches, and encouragement.

Responsibilities
Attend weekly sessions on Saturday from 3-5 PM CDT
Help Coordinate + Tutor 50+ students across 3 countries about civic duties, global awareness, and public speaking

Program Structure: 2 hours a week, including weekly calls (call times organized based on a participant’s time availability)
Civic Leadership Workshops: organized for all participants weekly on call(recordings will be made available)
Silk & Ink Magazine: submit the speech to our magazine for national recognition + a free physical copy!
